Khloé Kardashian admitted to slapping her on-again, off-again boyfriend Tristan Thompson — but not over his infidelity.
Instead, the “Kardashians” star, 41, smacked her then-partner because of a romantic gesture, telling her “Khloé in Wonderland” podcast listeners Wednesday Thompson, 34, had singer Giveon serenade her.
“It was, I think, just a random day because I wasn’t expecting it,” the Hulu personality recalled of the “mortifying” moment, adding that Giveon, 30, “wasn’t who he is now.”
Kardashian continued, “I remember I hated Tristan. I was like, ‘Why are you doing this?’ And Giveon is pouring his heart out.
“Tristan’s trying to sit next to me and I’m like, slapping him, and poor Giveon is still singing,” the Good American co-creator said.
She went “inside to get True” because she was “so annoyed” and “needed to get away” from Thompson.
While Kardashian did not specify the exact time frame this took place, she clarified, “This was years ago. [Our son], Tatum, wasn’t born. Yeah, it was just [our daughter], True.”
The former couple, notably, dated on and off between 2016 and 2021, welcoming their children in 2018 and 2022 amid multiple cheating scandals.
Since calling it quits with the NBA player for good, Kardashian has repeatedly shut down reconciliation rumors.
In December 2025, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum was warned by an Instagram follower that the athlete “will never change.”
Kardashian replied, “He’s my children’s father and forever a part of our family. Thank you though 😉 trust me. My kids come first forever and always.”
The exes, additionally, have reunited for the little ones’ birthday parties over the years.
Last year, Kardashian told viewers of her family’s show that her eldest child believes her parents are married.
She defended this decision in a March 2025 episode, explaining, “Kids should not be involved in adult problems.”
