Jake Paul’s fiancee Jutta Leerdam has been slammed by fans for sharing footage of herself in action at a charity soccer event – despite criticizing a streamer for filming himself before the game.
Leerdam, who won an Olympic speed-skating gold medal at the Milan Cortina Games earlier this year, sparked controversy at the CELSIUS Soccer Classic after calling out teammate Marlon Garcia for recording a vlog during their warmup.
‘Too much vlogging,’ she told Garcia. ‘Put the cameras away and focus on the ball.’
The clip has racked up millions of views, with Paul coming to his partner’s defense and ripping into the streamers on X by saying: ‘You just met someone who is a real person that doesn’t give a flying f*** about your stream. Play ball homie’.
Yet to the dismay of fans on social media, Leerdam has since posted a behind-the-scenes vlog from the event on her TikTok page.
The Dutch athlete included footage of her undergoing a pregame stretching workout, before getting on the bus with her fellow competitors and heading to the venue.

The vlog ended with some highlights of her playing in the soccer game, which a number of users felt was hypocritical following her comments to Garcia – and given her fiance is one of the most famous content creators on the planet.
‘U said no cameras focus on the game,’ one fan pointed out.
Another user replied: ‘Yet she does the same thing’.
‘Why u recording focus and lock in,’ said a third.
A fourth asked: ‘So your also doing content on it but he can’t????’
‘Maybe if you put the camera away you would’ve had a way better performance?’ a fifth commented.
While another put: ‘I know Jake Paul is SIZZLING seeing these comments’.
The Olympian has been accused of hypocrisy after sharing her own vlog from the game
Paul, who proposed to Leerdam in March 2025, leapt to his partner’s defense on social media
Despite the pre-match tension, Leerdam’s focus paid off as her side dominated the game, walking away with a 5-1 victory against the opposing team of influencers.
The event turned out to be a massive success for charity, raising $15,000 for various causes while showcasing the Olympian’s mainstream appeal in the United States.
Leerdam and Paul have been engaged since March 2025, and the boxer has been a constant presence at her major competitions, including her gold medal win in Italy.
Paul is currently sidelined from the ring himself as he recovers from a broken jaw suffered during a knockout loss to Anthony Joshua in December.
