Days after going viral for her appearance at the CFP National Championship game, former adult film star Abella Danger heaped praise on the man who beat her beloved Miami Hurricanes.
The adult actress, born Amirah Day, has been attending ‘The U’ since 2024 following her retirement from the porn industry in 2022.
Her appearances at the games in the Hurricanes’ run to the title game drew attention from ESPN cameras and from fans on social media.
But ultimately, the Canes fell to the Indiana Hoosiers – who made Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium feel like Bloomington as the program captured its first national title led by Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza.
Days after the defeat, the heartbroken Miami student flew to Las Vegas for the AVN Awards and was asked about Mendoza’s prospects – with the quarterback projected to go first overall in the upcoming NFL Draft to the Las Vegas Raiders.
‘I mean, he’s so quick and he’s so powerful and so intentional with everything that he does, and I feel like the Raiders would be so lucky to have him,’ she told Vegas Sports Today.

With Fernando Mendoza tipped to be drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders, the former adult film star praised him and said ‘the Raiders would be so lucky to have him’
This came days after her appearance on ESPN’s broadcast of the title game went viral
‘The question is will he play his first season after being drafted? I don’t know, but hopefully he does. I know the world is just dying to get more of that kid, he’s so talented.’
The former porn star, who is now a senior at Miami, felt compelled to issue a public apology after being shown during the ESPN broadcast.
‘I would give anything in the world to not have had ESPN film me, and I am so deeply sorry to anyone I offended with my attendance at the game,’ she told TMZ on Tuesday.
‘I wish I could be any other student supporting my team.’
Meanwhile, according to BroBible, she added: ‘I came to every single home game this season. Every single one. I went to two out of three playoff games, and now I’m here.
‘I feel so honored as a senior at the University of Miami to witness my team go to the national championship in Miami. I’m so nervous. I feel like I’m going to throw up.’
Danger is a lifelong Hurricanes fan and, like Mendoza, is a Miami native.
Shortly after the game, she shared a tearful video as she left the Hard Rock Stadium, where she shouted: ‘I hate this!’

In a separate post, she added: ‘I was born and raised in Miami. I went to South Miami Middle School, five minutes from UM, where we all wore orange and green just like UM.
‘I have dreamed of being a Hurricane since I was 10 years old. My love for the Canes is unconditional. I am and will always be a Hurricane, and we will be back with a vengeance.’
Danger could not contain her emotions after Miami suffered an agonizing 27-21 defeat on the night, with star quarterback Fernando Mendoza inspiring Indiana to victory.
When she was captured by ESPN watching on nervously in the crowd, her school was trailing 24-14 inside the final seven minutes of the game.
The Hurricanes did go on to score another touchdown in the fourth quarter, yet a subsequent Hoosiers field goal left them trailing by six points in the dying minutes.
And on their final drive of the game, Miami quarterback Carson Beck threw a nightmare interception to seal their fate and crown Indiana national champions.
The defeat was a devastating one for Miami, and Danger burst into tears after watching them slip at the final hurdle.
While leaving Hard Rock Stadium, the 30-year-old broke down in a video shared on her Instagram story while repeatedly saying: ‘I hate this!’

Mendoza proved the hero for Indiana after scoring a remarkable touchdown to lead the Hoosiers to their first-ever national title.
In front of Tom Brady and Donald Trump, Mendoza cemented his status as the best quarterback in college football with an incredible piece of individual play to take the game away from the Hurricanes in the fourth quarter.
The projected No. 1 pick in this year’s NFL Draft and reigning Heisman Trophy winner bulldozed his way into the end zone from 12 yards on a dramatic fourth down.
Miami still had a chance to stage a dramatic comeback but Beck threw an interception with 44 seconds left in the game, sparking wild scenes among Indiana’s players, coaches and fans.
