Popular TV presenter Grace Hayden is on track to score yet another high-profile commentary role with the news that she has been preparing to become part of Fox Sports’ NRL coverage.

The successful broadcaster has worked around the world and covered a multitude of sports, from cricket to horse racing and even motor sport.

Hayden recently shadowed NRLW star and current Fox League presenter Tiana Penitani Gray at an NRL match as she sets her sights on adding rugby league to her résumé.

Grace, who is the daughter of Aussie cricket legend Matthew Hayden, has been involved in sport her entire life and sees the move to footy as a natural progression.

‘I love all sports, always have,’ she told News Corp.

‘Growing up, I tried my hand at everything.’

Hayden has worked on a variety of cricket broadcasts in India, Australia and the Americas.

She has also been involved in covering and publicising top Aussie horse races like the Golden Slipper, and she recently joined Fox’s coverage of the Shannons SpeedSeries, which features top drivers racing Porsches, McLarens and Ferraris.

Now she has revealed her untapped passion for rugby league.

‘My whole family loves rugby league and I’m a big Broncos fan,’ Hayden said.

‘This time of the year, when you’ve got the Blues playing Queensland, it’s such an exciting time.

‘Rugby league is going from strength to strength, and it is a sport I definitely want to sink my teeth into.

‘It would be exciting to step into this new footy challenge with Fox.’

The 23-year-old also works as a model and has been part of tennis broadcast teams.
