The Independent Travel Awards have arrived, giving readers the chance to tell us all about the destinations they love to win prizes, from an all-inclusive trip to Jamaica to this London high tea.

Pinkies up, one lucky prizewinner will be taking high tea for two at the five-star hotel, Pan Pacific London.

Pan Pacific Hotels is a global hospitality company operating over 50 luxury hotels, resorts, and serviced suites across Asia-Pacific, North America, Africa, and Europe.

Complete with champagne in the Ginger Lily Bar and Lounge, this elevated take on Britain’s beloved afternoon tradition kicks off with a glass of Taittinger.

This is followed by savoury platters of Marie Rose prawn cocktails, truffled Burford Brown egg brioche, freshly baked plain or golden raisin scones, and a selection of cakes and pastries to finish, from blueberry and lemon macarons to mango mousse with kaffir lime and elegant matcha strawberry opera cake.

Pan Pacific London has also debuted two new palate-cleansing tea infusions, created using Newby Teas’ blends. These short tea-infused drinks feature fragrant floral notes and agave.

High tea is served in two sittings at 1pm and 3pm, with a vegan afternoon tea menu also available.

The tea for two prize is redeemable for 12 months, with reservations at Pan Pacific essential.
