Olivia is pulling double duty.

Ahead of the release of her third album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love,” Olivia Rodrigo is both the host and musical guest on tonight’s May 2 episode of “Saturday Night Live.”

Rodrigo becomes the third “double duty” host this season, following Sabrina Carpenter and Harry Styles.

Earlier this week, the show released a promo sketch that featured Rodrigo alongside cast members in a “Devil Wears Prada” parody that starred James Austin Johnson as Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly.

The “drop dead” songstress made her “SNL” debut as musical guest in May 2021, and returned in December 2023 following the release of her second album.

Who is hosting ‘SNL’ tonight (May 2)?

Olivia Rodrigo is set to host and perform as the musical guest on tonight’s episode of “Saturday Night Live.”

When is ‘Saturday Night Live’ on?

“SNL” is on tonight, May 2. The episode will air live from coast-to-coast at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT.

How to watch Olivia Rodrigo on ‘SNL’ for free

If you don’t have cable, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to stream “Saturday Night Live” for free. One option we love is DIRECTV, which comes with five days free and starts at $84.99/month, with plenty of subscription options and genre packs that include NBC.

You can also watch “SNL” for free with a Peacock Premium free trial (seven days, then $16.99/month). Peacock also has new “SNL” episodes available to stream in full on Sunday mornings.

‘SNL’ Season 51 schedule

Tonight’s episode of “SNL” with Olivia Rodrigo is the 18th of Season 51. The season will have 20 episodes total.

Rodrigo will host “SNL” for the first time tonight after appearing as musical guest in 2021 and 2023. NBC

Next week, Matt Damon hosts for a third time with returning musical guest Noah Kahan. Former cast member Will Ferrell will return to host for a seventh time in May 16’s season finale, alongside musical guest Paul McCartney.
