The Atlanta Dream are tied for the best record in the Eastern Conference. But not a single player on their roster was named a starter for the All-Star Game. Angel Reese smells something fishy.

Atlanta is one of the top teams in the league and has plenty of All-Star caliber players like Reese and guards Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray.

However, all three missed out on the honor to start at this year’s All-Star Game after the votes from fans, media and players were tallied.

Reese was left furious by the snub – not just for herself, but for her teammates.

The ‘Bayou Barbie’ admitted she ‘expect[s] to be disrespected’ but spoke out on behalf of Howard and Gray because ‘they won’t say anything.’

‘For those two though, I think they work so hard and they put a lot of work in, and the way that they’re guarded every game and they [have to] adjust,’ Reese said.

Reese is mostly upset that teammates Rhyne Howard and Allisha Grey weren’t selected

‘The reason why we’re where we are is because of those two. For us not to have anyone was just a slap in the face.’

After the voting was tallied, four guards and six frontcourt players were named starters for their respective All-Star teams.

Howard and Gray finished behind Paige Bueckers, Olivia Miles, Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell in the voting – with the pair finishing one and two points outside the top-four respectively.

As for Reese, she finished just 0.25 points outside of a starting spot – being nipped to sixth place by Minnesota Lynx star Natasha Howard despite finishing sixth in the fan vote, media vote and player vote.

Despite not being named starters, all three are expected to be All-Stars in the tournament.

Reese is averaging another double-double season – putting up 14.8 points a game and leading the league with 11.6 rebounds.
