Fulham are preparing a £24million offer for Southampton midfielder Shea Charles.
Leeds United have so far fallen short of Southampton’s demands for the Northern Ireland international with the Championship side holding out for £25million plus add-ons.
Leeds have made three proposals with add-ons but with agreement still to be found, Fulham are ready to make their move.
Manager Alvaro Arbeloa is on board with bringing in the 22-year-old who started out at Manchester City and talks are expected to advance.
