The closing date for applications is midday on Friday 29 May 2026.

Who it is for

The Freshen Up Grant is for any business or building owner with an active business operating from a commercial property within the city/town centre boundary, and who is paying commercial rates.

Support you can get

The Freshen Up Grant supports businesses to carry out cost-effective shopfront improvements of power washing and/or painting, to enhance visual appeal and create welcoming streetscapes in time for the summer season, to attract more visitors and boost local economic activity.
