Donald Trump participated in a wreath laying ceremony at Arlington Cemetery in Washington DC to commemorate Memorial Day.

The president laid the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in honor of fallen US service members on Monday (25 May). Trump was joined by Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

During his subsequent speech, Trump noted that 13 soldiers were killed in the conflict with Iran.

“We honor those who fell so that our republic might stand,” the president said.
