Cardi B is taking the high road after an alleged backstage dispute nearly derailed her Atlanta tour stop.
The rapper, 33, appeared visibly upset on Instagram Live hours before her show Saturday as she called out State Farm Arena’s venue staff for being “disrespectful” to her team and threatened to cancel the show over the issue.
“I’m not performing today,” Cardi said during the livestream. “We got in here, your employees are being f***ing rude for no reason, being rude for no reason. I feel a certain type of way, because you being disrespectful. I did 35 shows, and I never had a problem, and we’ve been kind to everybody.”
However, the “Bodak Yellow” singer then issued a cryptic warning on X to assure fans that she would take the stage after all, writing: “When you hold power and authority, use it with kindness and respect. Never abuse it… because not everyone will endure your arrogance in silence. Treat others exactly like you demand to be treated.”
She added, “Atlanta… I’ll see you soon.”

State Farm Arena did not return The Independent’s request for comment on the incident. It is unclear what led to the dispute.
The show was her second night in Atlanta, one night after her first stop in the city went smoothly.
Cardi’s Little Miss Drama tour kicked off in February and concluded with the weekend’s dates. Atlanta legends including Mariah the Scientist, Jeezy and T.I. joined Cardi on stage for surprise appearances during the show.
This is not the first time that the Grammy-winning mom of four, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, has made headlines with spats that started on the Little Miss Drama tour.

Back in February, the New York City-born star argued with the Department of Homeland Security on X after she jokingly told fans on the opening night of her tour that she was prepared to use “bear mace” to ward off ICE agents.
The DHS responded to her on-stage comments by bring up Cardi’s previous admission to drugging and robbing men while she worked as an escort.
“As long as she doesn’t drug and rob our agents, we’ll consider that an improvement over her past behavior,” the DHS said on X.
Cardi fired back in a post, “If we talking about drugs let’s talk about Epstein and friends drugging underage girls to rape them. Why yall don’t wanna talk about the Epstein files?”
