Blake Lively attended the FIFA World Cup Final Sunday with her non-famous girlfriends, after getting publicly snubbed from ex-close friend Taylor Swift’s recent wedding to Travis Kelce.
The actress, 38, flashed a big smile in a selfie she posted on her Instagram Stories of her and her gal-pals at the big game between Spain and Argentina (with Spain coming out victorious with a score of 1-0). Lively wore a striped button-up with a white tank-top underneath, light-wash jeans and sunglasses.
Lively’s group included Stoney Clover Lane founders Kendall and Libby Glazer, as well as her longtime friend Emma Gray.
Her husband, 49-year-old Ryan Reynolds, did not appear in the photo.
Lively was noticeably absent from Swift’s star-studded wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City earlier this month, with guests including Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Tom Brady, Brad Pitt and more.
On the night of the rehearsal dinner, Lively and Reynolds — who were both once extremely close to Swift prior to Lively’s lengthy legal battle with “It Ends With Us” director Justin Baldoni — were snapped supporting their daughter Betty as she competed in a horse show in Lake Placid, New York.
A week after the wedding, the couple was spotted out of the country, having lunch on the rooftop of a Mexican restaurant in Canada.
A source told Page Six last month that Lively wasn’t invited to the pop star’s nuptials after their fallout stemming from the actress’ legal battle with Baldoni.
“There hasn’t been an olive branch when it comes to their friendship,” the insider said. “And Taylor hasn’t extended a wedding invitation to Blake.”
A source previously told Page Six that Swift, 36, needed “space” from the actress after her name was dragged into the lawsuits between Lively and Baldoni, 42.
The singer is “taking a break from their friendship right now. Taylor is really hurt by this whole situation and feels like a pawn,” the insider said at the time.
“Taylor wants nothing to do with this whole ordeal,” they added. “She has always been a loyal friend to Blake and doesn’t appreciate being thrown into this at all.”
Lively and Baldoni’s case ended with a surprise settlement in May.
However, the two are still battling in court after the settlement. Last week, Baldoni challenged Lively’s demand that he pay her more than $8 million in legal fees.
The “Jane the Virgin” alum called the figure “excessive” and requested that a judge reduce it in court docs obtained by Page Six.
