Arnold Schwarzenegger and his girlfriend of 14 years, Heather Milligan, stepped out together for a rare public appearance in Austria.
The actor, 79, started dating the physical therapist in 2013, a year after he worked with her to treat his shoulder injury. They have since kept their relationship private, making only a few public appearances together over the years.
The pair had an evening in the spotlight Tuesday, attending the Austrian World Summit in Vienna, Austria. They were also showing their support for the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative, a non-profit organization that advocates for a healthy planet by fighting pollution.
For this year’s conference, which the former California governor founded in 2017, Schwarzenegger wore a grey checkerboard suit and a black shirt. His girlfriend opted for a lime green satin shirt, a matching jacket and white pants.
They were joined by many famous guests, including former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker and Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen.

The Terminator star spoke about the summit and initiative behind his non-profit during a Tuesday interview with Morning Joe. “We have to terminate pollution, that’s what I always say. Use my movie lines, ‘Asta La Vista, pollution,’” he said.
“The theme of the conference is that we are unstoppable,” he continued, urging people to think about what they can do on a “state and local level” to prevent pollution.
Before the summit, Schwarzenegger and Milligan were last publicly spotted together on a dinner date at Nobu Malibu in April. They also attended the Austrian World Summit in 2025, days before they walked the red carpet at the season two premiere of Netflix’s Fubar in Los Angeles.
Schwarzenegger met Milligan in 2012, after his Escape Plan co-star Sylvester Stallone recommended the physical therapist to Schwarzenegger to help with his recovery from shoulder surgery.

“So I went to her, and then after my therapy was finished, after I was finished with the movie, I called her back and took her out for lunch to say thank you. And then one thing led to the next,” Schwarzenegger told People in 2023.
He also opened up about the bond he formed with Milligan, saying their relationship was “fantastic.”
“We have so many things in common,” he added. “I think the world of her. I love that she’s into working. She’s clearly independent. She’s just is driven as hell.”
Before he started dating Milligan, Schwarzenegger was married to journalist Maria Shriver for 25 years. Their separation came after the Predator star publicly admitted he fathered a child, Joseph Baena, with their longtime housekeeper, Mildred Baena.
The former couple shares four children — Katherine, 36, Christina, 34, Patrick, 32, and Christopher, 28.
