- England underwhelmed in Barcelona but still beat Andorra 1-0 on Saturday
- Captain Harry Kane scored for the fourth international game running
- Thomas Tuchel now has three wins from three games as England boss
England bored fans in Barcelona but emerged victorious nonetheless from Saturday’s World Cup qualifier against Andorra.
The Three Lions had well over 80 per cent of possession in the first half but could only muster four shots on target, as Andorra frustrated the likes of Harry Kane, Cole Palmer and Jude Bellingham.
Kane eventually did make the breakthrough five minutes into the second half, scoring for the fourth England game in a row.
But that goal failed to spark Thomas Tuchel’s side into a higher gear and the game ended 1-0 — Andorra’s best ever result against England.
Tuchel have now overseen three wins in three games since starting work as England manager in January.
