AMC Theaters is offering a brand new live experience for music lovers by screening concerts in cinemas across America.
The world’s largest theater company announced Tuesday that it would be partnering with live entertainment company Arena One to bring live-streamed concert events to certain local theaters.
The first interactive, real-time concert events are set for this summer: “I’m Good (Blue)” singer Bebe Rexha on June 17, Paris Hilton on June 18, “Unholy” musician Kim Petras on June 19 and country-pop star Maren Morris on June 20. More artists and dates are expected to be announced at a later date.
More than 300 AMC locations in 89 markets across the country will be programmed for the concerts. Tickets will range from $40 to $75, depending on the artist and market.
According to the company, special sound technology will allow “crowd buzz, sound and reactions” from the in-theater concerts to be reflected to performers during their show in real-time.
Adam Aron, the Chairman and CEO of AMC Entertainment, said in a press release that the innovation will “open an entirely new chapter in live entertainment.”
“Thanks to Arena One at AMC, music fans across the country will be able to come together for the same live concert, at the same time, all with the accessible premium experience of huge screens, powerful sound, and comfortable seats that AMC guests know and expect,” Aron continued.
“We built a cinematic stage optimized to translate seamlessly to cinemas, but artists are defining what it becomes,” Arena One CEO Peter Hamilton said in the release. “They’re not adapting tours; they’re building something new. That’s when a medium sparks reinvention.”
Tickets for the shared live concert experiences are available now on Arena One’s website, as well as the AMC Mobile App.

AMC has made notable moves to bring theatrical music experiences to theaters in recent years.
Following her record-breaking Eras Tour, Taylor Swift partnered directly with the chain to release her concert movie, which had the biggest opening for a concert film to date. AMC also hosted a release party for her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, in all theaters across the country during the record’s opening weekend in October.
AMC also worked with Beyoncé to distribute Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé without studio involvement. The documentary about the superstar’s 39-day Renaissance World Tour earnt $21 million in North American ticket sales during its opening weekend.
