WWE legend and ex-Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura has called on Donald Trump to send his son Barron to war, while labeling the President a ‘draft-dodging coward.’
Ventura, who recently stated his belief that Trump faked the assassination attempt he survived back in 2024, urged 20-year-old Barron to do what his father ‘didn’t have the courage to do’ and fight for his country amid America and Israel’s war with Iran.
Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored, the Vietnam veteran, 74, said when asked for his thoughts on the Iran conflict: ‘There’s a simple thing as a leader, and you know this having been in the military. Trump wouldn’t know it because he’s a draft-dodging coward. But anyway it’s this: a war is justified if you’re willing to send your kids. Because how can you send somebody else’s kids to a war if you won’t send your own?
‘So I’m calling right now for Barron Trump, Donald Trump’s son [to enlist]. After all, he’s had three wives, he’s had kids by each wife, and nobody’s ever served in the military. To my knowledge, a Trump in the last 100 years has never done military service.
‘Well Barron, you can change that. Enlist in the United States military right now, do something your father didn’t have the courage to do, do something your father didn’t have the patriotism to do.’

Ventura branded the President a ‘draft-dodging coward’ on Piers Morgan Uncensored

Trump has five children with three different women; welcoming eldest child Donald Jr, eldest daughter Ivanka and second son Eric with ex-wife Ivana, fourth child Tiffany with former partner Marla Maples and Barron with current wife Melania.
As Ventura points out, Donald Jr and Eric have never enlisted in the US military, instead taking over the management of the Trump Organization when their father first became president in 2017.
While he attended the New York Military Academy for high school, Trump never served in the military himself after avoiding the draft for the Vietnam War due to bone spurs. His father Fred and grandfather Friedrich – who emigrated to the US from Germany in 1885 after failing to complete mandatory military service – also never served.
‘I wanna see a Trump in the military,’ Ventura continued. ‘Everybody in my family has served, so I think I can say that with all due confidence.
‘Come on Trumps! Don’t just reap the benefits of this free world, somebody put on the uniform… and that’s you Barron.’
He also added about claims that 6ft 9in Barron is too big for the military: ‘I heard the excuse that Barron might be too tall. David Robinson served on active duty, he was 7ft tall before he ever went to the San Antonio Spurs basketball team.’
Ventura went on to peddle the conspiracy theory about the failed attempt on then-presidential candidate Trump’s life in Butler, Pennsylvania almost two years ago.
Morgan noted how Trump got back up after being shot and uttered the catchphrase, ‘Fight, fight, fight.’
Ventura also stated his belief that Trump faked the assassination attempt he survived in 2024
‘Oh yeah, right, right, right,’ Ventura replied before saying, ‘You ever hear of a blade job?’
In wrestling terminology, ‘blading’ or a ‘blade job’ is when a wrestler intentionally cuts themselves open to bleed and provide ‘color’ (blood) to a match.
A stunned Morgan replied, ‘A blade job? What, you think it was fake?’
Ventura replied, ‘I don’t know, where’s his scar today?’ – referring to the absence of a scar or any visible damage to Trump’s right ear.
Morgan continued, noting that someone behind Trump died to which the former governor said, ‘Come on, Piers, you’re gonna tell me this guy [Trump] is a hero?’
When Morgan said he did think Trump was heroic, Ventura replied, ‘Well, then he accomplished what he wanted out of you guys.’
