WWE Hall of Famer Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler was forced to pull out of a public appearance this week after suffering his third stroke in the space of seven years.
According to TMZ Sports, Lawler, 75, is already on the road to recovery following the medical emergency at one of his homes in Florida last Friday.
The wrestling legend’s daughter is believed to be taking him back to his primary residence, where he will rest and recover for a few more weeks before eventually getting back to normal.
He was scheduled to appear at HorrorHound Weekend in Cincinnati on Friday, yet organizersannounced
Lawler was hospitalized back in 2023 after a ‘massive’ stroke, while ESPN claim he previously suffered one five years earlier.
In 2012 the former wrestler also collapsed during a live broadcast of WWE’s Monday Night Raw due to a heart attack.
He was last seen on TV back in February, when cameras showed him enjoying WWE Smackdown in his home state of Tennessee.
