- Followed pictures of the heckler appearing online
- Body shamed on X, some horrific comments
- Heckler earlier targeted Australian Open finalist
The woman who heckled Australian Open finalist Alexander Zverev has been taunted by ruthless trolls on social media.
On Sunday night at Melbourne Park, the woman in question was escorted from Rod Laver Arena after staging a dramatic live protest.
As Zverev – who was outclassed in straight sets by world number one Jannik Sinner – approached the microphone to begin his speech, she bellowed: ‘Australia believes Olya and Brenda! Australia believes Olya and Brenda!’
It was a reference to two women – Zverev’s former partners Olya Sharypova and Brenda Patea – who previously made allegations of domestic abuse against the tennis star.
Zverev has always denied the allegations – and shares a daughter, Mayla, with Patea.
The German didn’t initially address the incident, before later telling reporters: ‘Good for her. I think she was the only one in the stadium who believed anything.’

When pictures of the woman soon appeared online, she was body shamed.
‘She should look to exercise instead of shouting idiotic remarks at Sascha,’ one X user posted.
Another said: ‘Wokists in general, but wokist women in particular, have a real problem with men, they systematically see evil in them.’
A third weighed in with: ‘She certainly wasn’t going to risk being thrown out before she could enjoy the brilliant match. She waited until after the match to hurl her abuse.’
Some of the other comments were so vile Daily Mail Australia has chosen not to publish them.
In 2023, it was announced Zverev would face no punishment as there was insufficient evidence to support claims from Sharypova three years earlier.
In a statement at the time, Zverev labelled the allegations ‘baseless’ before adding he had ‘fully cooperated with the ATP’s investigation.’

Then last May, separate accusations of domestic abuse from Brenda Patea, went to a German court.
The case was settled, with the court telling the BBC: ‘The decision is not a verdict and it is not a decision about guilt or innocence.
‘One decisive factor for the court decision was that the witness has expressed her wish to end the trial.
‘The defendant agreed to the termination of the case.’
