Mo Salah’s agent Ramy Abass says they have yet to decide where Liverpool’s stellar forward moves next after bringing down the curtain on his Anfield career.

Here Daily Mail Sport assesses potential destinations:

AL ITTIHAD

Deemed favourites by many. The Saudi Pro League side made a verbal offer of £150m to Liverpool in 2023 and remain in the market to replace Karim Benzema who left in January.

Was talk of the SPL being willing to offer 50m euros after tax per season if he had joined last summer prior to agreeing his contract with Liverpool. That offer may not be as high now but he is still very much in demand.

Al Hilal, Al Qadsiah and Al Ahli have all been credited with interest.

PROBABILITY: 9/10

Mo Salah is leaving Liverpool in the summer and will have plenty of suitors

SAN DIEGO FC

The MLS does hold appeal for Salah but whether they can finance the deal is the overriding question. Salah and San Diego FC have been linked before. Egyptian and British billionaire Mohamed Mansour owns the franchise and is looking for a marquee star with Mexico international Hirving Lozano on his way out.

San Diego tried for Salah’s friend Kevin De Bruyne prior to him joining Napoli and have financial clout but it’s whether they have enough.

PROBABILITY: 6/10

BARCELONA

Barcelona are looking for a new winger and may yet opt not to sign Marcus Rashford on a permanent basis. However, Salah plays on the right and cuts in as does Lamine Yamal.

Though the young star has played in the ‘number 10’ role also there is some room for manoeuvre, but Salah’s age profile and cost mean a move is unlikely when Barca have to consider the most efficient ways of utilising their money.

PROBABILITY: 2/10

JUVENTUS

Salah still has the fitness to cut it in Serie A but the financial package is likely too big a burden for the Turin side to carry.

They want a forward such as Randal Kolo Muani and are exploring the possibility of adding Bernardo Silva on a free from Manchester City. The prospect of signing Salah would excite fans but likely be detrimental to their financial plans going forward.

AND WHO COULD REPLACE MO?

BRADLEY BARCOLA – Paris St Germain

Electric winger is on the radar of all Europe’s top clubs as he has not been entirely content with his lot at PSG. The 23-year old may miss the Champions League tie with Liverpool because of a ligament sprain but is well known to Liverpool’s recruitment team.

PROBABILITY: 7/10

YANKUBA MINTEH – Brighton

May not be the sexiest name on Liverpool’s wish list but he is Premier League proven, has amassed good stats and is known to Arne Slot having played under him at Feyenoord when on loan from Newcastle United. Could prove marginally cheaper option and still only 21.

PROBABILITY: 8/10

MICHAEL OLISE – Bayern Munich

He may be the dream signing for Liverpool fans but life isn’t that simple. Olise is under contract until 2029 and Bayern insiders insist there is no release clause. Sport director Max Eberl says they are relaxed despite the presence of Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City on their shoulders.

PROBABILITY: 6/10

YAN DIOMANDE – RB Leipzig

The 19-year-old emerged as an option for Liverpool last summer. Tottenham are among the other clubs to have enquired and were made aware that the Reds were already at the table while Manchester United and City have compiled their own reports. Leipzig want £80million for the Ivory Coast international who turned down a chance to join Chelsea as a 17-year-old.

PROBABILITY: 7/10
