Whether you’re dreaming of cocktails in the Caribbean, a cultural city break or an action-packed excursion, Viator offers thousands of tours and activities worldwide to make your trip even more memorable. From guided walking tours of Dubrovnik to off-grid adventures in Bali, Viator has tons of options to choose from. To help you cut down costs, The Independent’s deal hunters have tracked down the best discount codes and offers available right now.

Save 15 per cent on activities and tours in Europe

If a European adventure is in the diary, Viator offers tours and attraction tickets for top destinations including Paris, Santorini, Florence and more with our offer. Simply type in your destination or type of activity into the search bar on the website and you’ll find lots of inspiration. You can also filter to display only discounts and offers, which can save you up to 15 per cent.

Save up to 20 per cent on advanced bookings

If you are a forward planner, Viator is also offering up to 20 per cent off early bookings, perfect for securing popular experiences before they sell out.

Earn and redeem Viator Rewards

The savings don’t stop at checkout – once registered with Viator, you will access its free loyalty program where you can earn credit every time you book an eligible experience. Once registered, you will automatically earn around five per cent back in rewards for every qualifying booking made directly through Viator’s website or app.

These credits appear in your account 24 hours after your activity begins and can be used towards your next booking. You have 180 days to redeem them, and they will be automatically applied at checkout, reducing the total amount you pay (a minimum £1 spend still applies).

Keep in mind that you can’t combine rewards with promo codes. If you’re choosing between a discount code and Viator rewards, compare the value of each before checking out.

Save 10 per cent with the Viator student discount

Viator also offers exclusive student discounts through both Student Beans and Unidays, allowing verified students to save on tours and experiences around the world. Both platforms offer 10 per cent off most bookings by logging in, retrieving the unique code and applying it at checkout.

10 per cent discount for NHS employees and Blue Light Card holders

NHS employees can also enjoy 10 per cent off Viator bookings through Health Service Discounts. Simply verify your NHS status on the platform, access the offer and apply the promo code at checkout. This discount is eligible on a broad range of experiences with flexible “reserve now, pay later” and free cancellation options.

Similarly, Blue Light Card holders – including NHS, emergency services, armed forces, and social care staff – also receive a 10 per cent discount when booking through the “Holiday discounts” section of the Blue Light Card website or app.

Download the Viator app for more discounts and codes

The Viator app offers a range of exclusive benefits designed to make planning and booking activities easier. You can access app-only promo codes, sometimes as much as 35 per cent on top of regular discounts. By downloading the app and turning on notifications, you’ll also activate real-time alerts about flash sales, seasonal offers and last-minute availability.

On the app, you’ll get convenient mobile ticket access, cancellation management and on some bookings, a “reserve now, pay later” option. The app also lets you manage all of your trips in one place, chat directly with guides, view reminders and build wishlists for future travels.

If you’re debating where to visit next, there are plenty of must-see attractions to add to your list. Here are some of the most popular destinations where you can take advantage of these Viator promo codes:

  • London: Step into history with tours of Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London and the bustling West End.
  • Dubai: Ride the dunes on a desert safari, take in the views from the Burj Khalifa or cruise along Dubai Marina.
  • Bangkok: Visit the stunning Grand Palace, explore floating markets or try your hand at Thai cooking.
  • New York: Walk the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, go backstage on Broadway or take in the skyline from a helicopter tour.

Viator, a Tripadvisor company, is a trusted travel provider offering tours and experiences worldwide. There are thousands of activities to explore, flexible payment options, free cancellation and lowest price guarantees. Plus, with the addition of a Viator discount code, you can take advantage of extra savings.

How we find the best deals and discount codes

The Independent’s team of deal hunters dedicates itself to carefully selecting the best travel offers and discount codes. From flights and hotels to family days out, we only share deals that we would use ourselves. All codes are hand-tested and checked regularly by hand, ensuring you’re always getting valid discounts and up-to-date sales.

The Independent has been a trusted consumer champion since 1986, reporting on behalf of our readers to find the best deals and discounts. Whether it’s all-inclusive holiday deals, travel insurance tips or keeping tabs on annual sale events (think Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday and the Boxing Day sales), our team is always looking out for the best ways to save you money on the products worth buying. We only ever select savings from travel providers that we trust.
