Detectives are appealing for information after two women reported being sexually assaulted in separate attacks, which police believe may be related.
At 06:15 BST, officers received a report a woman had been sexually assaulted in Broadfield Park, Rochdale, by a man she did not know.
A second sexual assault report was made at 08:38 by a woman who was attacked in Milnrow Memorial Park, again by a man she did not know.
Both victims have provided a similar description of the suspect, who was a black male believed to have been wearing a three piece suit or smart black clothes and a dark coat and carrying a briefcase.
Greater Manchester Police have identified CCTV footage of a man matching the description in the Ko-Ko Lounge in Rochdale town centre, who was seen leaving the venue at about 05:00.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have seen a man matching this description, or who has CCTV, dashcam, doorbell, or mobile phone footage from the town centre, Broadfield Park or Milnrow Memorial Park areas to contact them.
Det Ch Insp Thomas Willis said: “Detectives are pursuing a number of lines of enquiry and we are committed to identifying whoever is responsible and bringing them to justice.”
