Donald Trump was asked to move out of the way by players as Spain lifted the World Cup trophy.
On Sunday (19 July), the Spanish side clinched a 1-0 win against reigning champions Argentina following Ferran Torres’ extra-time strike.
The US president, accompanied by Fifa’s Gianni Infantino, presented the victorious team with the trophy, handing it over to captain Rodri.
Rodri, who also won the Golden Ball for player of the tournament, could be seen gesturing for Mr Trump to move aside.
The US president, who remained front and centre for last year’s Club World Cup trophy lift with winners Chelsea, remained at the side of the stage just beside the players, despite Infantino appearing to urge him to move further away.
