Donald Trump appeared to be completely unaware that there was a group photo being taken at the G7 Summit.

On Tuesday (16 June) as the world leaders posed for a photo, the US president seemingly stared into the distance whilst others looked at the camera.

Meanwhile, Sir Keir Starmer was absent for the photo call, with his seat next to Mr Trump remaining vacant. Sir Keir later joined the meeting as talks commenced.

The three-day summit, which has been held in the spa town of Evian on Lake Geneva, has seen the G7 leaders issuing their support for Mr Trump’s tentative agreement with Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz.
