NFL icon Ryan Fitzpatrick has revealed that guests were left stunned by Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding – with one moment in particular proving to be particularly jaw-dropping.
Kansas City Chiefs star Kelce and pop sensation Swift celebrated their marriage in a star-studded extravaganza at Madison Square Garden on July 3.
The glitzy soiree saw 1,000 guests from Hollywood and sport’s elite gather at the iconic New York City arena for the blockbuster affair.
And former quarterback Fitzpatrick, who now serves as an analyst for Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football, made the A-list guest list, attending with his wife of 20 years, Liza.
The former New York Jets and Buffalo Bills star gushed over the celebration this week, admitting that he was still recovering from ‘six-plus hours of dancing’.
‘We were very excited to get the invite and very privileged to be there,’ he told People, ahead of competing at the ACC Golf Championship in Lake Tahoe this week. ‘They did everything top notch.’

While he hailed the entire event as ‘unbelievable,’ there was one moment in particular that was a standout for Fitzpatrick.
‘When Adam Sandler walked out – it had everybody floored, that was really cool,’ he says. ‘The ceremony was beautiful.’
He added that it was ‘magical’ to spend the evening on the dancefloor with his wife.

The deep secrecy that surrounded the buildup to the nuptials lifted when a marquee outside the Midtown Manhattan arena proclaimed ‘JUST&T MARRIED’ once the deed was done.
The couple did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen, instead having Swift´s younger brother Austin Swift serve as her man of honor with Kelce´s big brother and podcast co-host Jason Kelce his best man, Swift’s publicist Tree Paine said in an email.
The bride and groom´s outfits came from Christian Dior Haute Couture and its designer Jonathan Anderson with shoes custom-made by Christian Louboutin. She wore Cartier jewelry.
Actors Bradley Cooper, Zoe Kravitz, Hugh Grant and Ethan Hawke; models Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss; comic Chris Rock; director Steven Spielberg; singer Camila Cabello and author Jenny Han were among the guests from the world of arts and entertainment.

A host of Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammates also made the guestlist, while Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, former Chiefs star Mecole Hardman, Las Vegas Raiders tight end coach Luke Steckel, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp and NFL quarterback Baker Mayfield also received coveted invites.
NFL sideline reporters Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson, who famously played matchmaker for the couple, were also spotted heading to the venue.
In fact, an invitation to the extravaganza was so in demand that it has reportedly sparked drama among Kelce’s inner circle.
After Thursday night’s more intimate rehearsal dinner – also held at MSG but for only 100 of the couple’s nearest and dearest – the Daily Mail exclusively reported how some of Kelce’s NFL ‘circle’ had been left upset.
‘Not everyone on the team has the same invite,’ a source said, adding that certain players had been disappointed to discover they had been left out of the more intimate Thursday dinner, and only invited to Friday’s blowout.
Then on Monday, Taylor Lewan and Will Compton, ex-NFL players turned podcasters and, so they thought, good friends of Kelce, poured fuel on the fire by publicly outing themselves as two ‘snubbed’ pals who had not even been invited to Friday’s event.
Compton said he is ‘flabbergasted’. Lewan wondered if the exclusion was ‘a personal shot’ fired by Kelce.
