After a summer of full of proposing and preparation, the 2025 NFL season has arrived for Travis Kelce as the Chiefs tight end arrived for his first game of the campaign.
Kelce, who recently got engaged to international pop icon Taylor Swift, arrived to the Arena Corinthians in Sao Paulo, Brazil for a game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
It’s the first legit game of football he’s played since losing in Super Bowl LIX to the Philadelphia Eagles – missing on the chance for a historic ‘threepeat’.
Kelce’s all-black suit was styled with some unique stitching details throughout his jacket and the matching pants. On his left ribs, there appeared to be the details of a person’s face.
Per the X account @StyleByKelce, the suit was created by popular designer KidSuper and both the jacket and pants retail for a combined $850.
He wore a white button down shirt underneath the jacket and finished his outfit with black sunglasses, a black leather duffel bag, and black loafers.

It’s the first NFL game that Kelce will participate in since announcing his bombshell engagement to the ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ songstress.
Now, his focus will turn to the season ahead as the 35-year-old hopes to add to his trophy cabinet after previously considering retirement.
But after ending his 2024 season on a bitter note via a championship blowout, Kelce announced that he would be returning to avenge the season prior.
It came after one of his worst statistical seasons since he became a full-time starter in his second-year in the NFL.
Last year, Kelce had a career-low mark for yardage (823), yards-per-catch (8.5) and touchdown catches (3) as quarterback Patrick Mahomes often found other targets.
With that lack of production, it led to plenty of speculation about his future – leading to Kelce’s announcement of his return.
Kelce had previously shared his hesitancy for playing in Brazil back in May, revealing that he wasn’t looking forward to playing in Sao Paulo’s weather.
‘Yeah, we’re definitely playing in Brazil,’ Kelce said on an episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast that was released before the NFL schedule was dropped.
Kelce’s past fears about the heat in Brazil don’t appear to be an issue for him this evening
The game takes place just over a week after Kelce announced his engagement to Taylor Swift
‘I’ll be there, not to do a podcast. I’ll be playing football in the f***ing heat.’
He added: ‘There’s just something about getting close to the equator, I don’t want to put on football uniform. I’ve been in Jacksonville in September, that’s f***ing miserable.’
Well, fortunately for Kelce, it’s unseasonably cool in Sao Paulo this evening – with a kickoff temperature of around 63°F (17°C).
It’s perfect weather for the first game of the season against the AFC West rival Chargers, who the Chiefs swept in 2024.
