New York Knicks fans face the prospect of shelling out upwards of $10,000 for the cheapest ticket to Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden on Monday.

The Knicks are 2-0 in the best-of-seven series and closing in on a first championship in 27 years, sparking madness on the streets of the Big Apple.

Games 3 and 4 descend on MSG on Monday and Wednesday, with the Knicks sealing the title if they’re able to win both. That, though, means tickets are like gold dust.

Incredibly, as of Saturday morning, it appears that Game 3 will be the most expensive NBA ticket of all-time, with the cheapest available ticket in the arena going for $13,421 at the time of publishing.

Should the Knicks win on Monday night, it is almost guaranteed that tickets will be even more expensive on Wednesday – with Game 4 potentially seeing the Knicks lift the championship trophy inside the world’s most famous arena.

Despite the first two games of the Finals taking place in San Antonio, the streets of New York City have been full of Knicks fans enjoying watch parties and celebrating the fairytale run of the team, which has now won 13 games in a row.

Unprecedented scenes are expected inside and outside the arena on Monday night, with millions of fans set to fill Midtown in the orange and blue of the Knicks.

For those fans with a higher budget, courtside seats for Game 3 of the 2026 Finals are currently available for $70,000, while a slightly cheaper option in the middle bowl will cost you around $26,000.

The likes of Ben Stiller and Timothee Chalamet were in San Antonio for Games 1 and 2, and it is almost guaranteed they will be front and center for the return games in New York next week.

It is certainly the place to be seen for A-listers, with even Donald Trump expected to take his place inside MSG for Monday night’s Game 3.

The series has so far been headlined by the battle between the Knicks’ Jalen Brunson, and the Spurs’ 7-foot-4 phenom Victor Wembanyama.

On Friday night, it was Wembanyama’s mistake that allowed Brunson to score the free throw that secured New York’s win.

The Knicks’ current 13-game win streak is the best in franchise history, second only in the all-time records to the 2017 Warriors, who won 15 on their way to the title.
