Karoline Leavitt has been slammed by The View hosts after she blasted her fellow Gen Zers as “lazy”.
Following two months of maternity leave, the White House press secretary told Fox News’ Jesse Waters that she believes that her peers and those younger than her have a poor work ethic. “It’s laziness, and it’s liberal indoctrination,” she said.
Critiquing Ms Leavitt’s comments, Joy Behar said: “She has all these things. She got an education. She married a rich guy. So talk about a DEI hire.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin agreed, stating that she is raising Gen Z children and has noticed that they are facing much tougher economic conditions than their parents, claiming that many are living “paycheck to paycheck”.
Leavitt, 28, is married to millionaire New Hampshire property developer Nicholas Riccio, 60.
