Bravo stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson have confirmed rumors that they are romantically involved.
The two Summer House stars shared a joint statement Tuesday on Instagram, writing that “what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected.”
Batula, 34, announced her separation from husband of four years and Summer House castmate, Kyle Cooke, in January. Their relationship has been a main storyline throughout the show’s ten seasons. Wilson, 31, had a messy end to his brief relationship with their co-star — and Batula’s close friend — Ciara Miller in 2023. The situation harkens memories of the 2023 “Scandoval” that rocked another hit Bravo show, Vanderpump Rules, when it emerged that longtime cast member Tom Sandoval had been having an affair with his castmate, Rachel Leviss, despite his years-long relationship — and her close friendship — with Ariana Madix.
While there is no evidence of cheating, Batula and Wilson acknowledged that while the romance is “still very new,” they wanted to “provide some clarity” amid the online speculation.
“As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling,” they continued. “We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”
That impact extends, very clearly, to Cooke and Miller — who has appeared to unfollow both Batula and Wilson on social media — not to mention the rest of the Summer House cast.
Internet sleuths sent fans into a frenzy over the last week after discovering photos of Batula and Wilson wearing the same sweatshirt months apart. It was just one small clue that indicated something deeper was going on between the co-stars.
Their fellow Summer House castmates, including formerly engaged couple Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard, seemingly responded to the news over the weekend, sharing photos of themselves on the show. While Radke’s picture was more stoic, Hubbard’s showed a mix of shock and disgust.
Hubbard then posted a photo of herself and Miller, sending a strong message of support for her co-star.
Another Bravo star who also briefly dated Miller, Southern Charm’s Austen Kroll, added fuel to the fire with a cryptic photo of a restaurant table with multiple dishes and the caption: “Pasta and f*** your friends exes are apparently so back.”
Days before the rumors peaked, Wilson appeared on Bravo executive Andy Cohen’s late-night show, Watch What Happens Live, and addressed the speculation. “She’s [Batula’s] single, I gotta show her the streets a little bit.
“But if it’s not clear, that’s a very important person to me, and I care about her a lot,” he continued before calling Batula his “homegirl” and adding, “That’s a friend. I hope it’s clear.”
Summer House recently began airing its current season, which was filmed in 2025. The reunion is slated to be taped in a matter of weeks.
The Independent has contacted Bravo for comment.
