Paige Lorenze got into a surprising beef with a local Nantucket business over their “No influencers” sign.

The socialite influencer — who’s married to tennis star Tommy Paul — left a passionate comment on Four Winds Craft Guild’s Instagram post, in which they proudly posted a sign hanging inside their store reading, “No influencers.”

Four Winds Craft Guild — which has been in business since 1948 — sells hand-crafted baskets, purses, local artwork and carvings, according to their website.

Lorenze commented, “If you call yourself a feminist but proudly put up a ‘No Influencers’ sign, it’s worth asking who you are attempting to delegitimize, and why…”

She continued, “Mocking women when they become powerful in a new industry isn’t new. It’s just a strange message coming from a store that celebrates a craft with such a rich history of women shaping the island and its economy.”

Lorenze, who herself is a content creator, went on to note the positive impact influencers can have on a business.

“For those who don’t know, the creator economy is overwhelmingly driven by women,” she wrote. “Brands have shifted billions of dollars into creator marketing because it consistently delivers something traditional advertising can’t…. trust, community, and measurable sales. “

She concluded, “One woman with a loyal audience can successfully launch a business at a scale that would have once required corporate backing and massive advertising budgets. That’s a win. This sign isn’t.”

Lorenze blasted the business for the sign, accusing them of being dismissive of content creators, who are mostly women. Instagram

The post has since been deleted, but Four Winds Craft Guild clapped back in their Instagram Stories Saturday. They shared an image noting that their Instagram page was reported.

“Imagine being so bored with life that you spend your pastime trying to report a photo on IG that makes you feel uncomfortable,’ the business wrote.

They then re-shared the image of their “No influencers” sign.

Lorenze, 28, launched her own lifestyle brand, Dairy Boy, in 2021. She started dating Paul, 29, in 2022, and they got married at Old Westbury Gardens in Nassau County, New York — on the same estate that inspired Daisy Buchanan’s home in Baz Luhrmann’s 2013 adaptation of “The Great Gatsby” — earlier this month.

She spoke to Page Six Style back in September 2025 about how she’s evolved as she’s gotten older.

“I feel like everything’s gotten better in my life with age, [including] my style,” she said. “As I’ve grown as a person, my brand has grown in tandem.”

She also named Hailey Bieber as an influencer she admires.

“I think there’s a difference between [being] a celebrity and having an influence, and I think that’s why I look up to Hailey,” she explained. “It’s really cool to see how much a woman with a vision can impact.”
