Bolton Wanderers have signed goalkeeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Doncaster Rovers, appearing in all 46 league matches as the Yorkshire outfit won the League Two title.
“I’m very excited to be here. It’s another great challenge for me,” Sharman-Lowe told the club website., external
“Coming to a club as big as Bolton – with its past in the Premier League as well and aspirations to be back there – I think I can really kick on and it’s another great opportunity for me.”
Sharman-Lowe, who is currently away with the England under-21 squad at the European Championships in Slovakia, is head coach Steven Schumacher’s fifth signing of the summer window so far.
“Teddy has shown he can handle the demands of regular first-team football,” Bolton boss Schumacher added.
“His performances for Doncaster were outstanding and he possesses the physical presence and all-round goalkeeping attributes we were looking for.”
