Team USA edged past the Dominican Republic in a nail-biting World Baseball Classic semifinal on Sunday night.
Junior Caminero gave the Dominicans the lead, only for Gunnar Henderson and Roman Anthony to turn the game on its head and give the US a 2-1 lead in the fourth inning.
It remained that way all the way until the bottom of the ninth, when closing pitcher Mason Miller held his nerve – with the help of a controversial call from the umpire on the game-winning pitch.
The USA will now play Italy or Venezuela in the final.
