Furious fans are blasting the superstar’s decision to invite Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife, Kelly, to Friday’s Madison Square Garden ceremony.
The intense online frustration stems from comments Kelly publicly made two years ago, regarding Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory in February 2024, Kelly utilized her podcast, The Morning After, to complain about Swift’s constant presence on NFL broadcasts.
‘I don’t really care. But I don’t know if I want to see another four months of Taylor Swift Travis Kelce coverage,’ Kelly stated during the 2024 episode.
‘And if they win, we’re gonna see them everywhere, and now it is what it is.’

‘It was a good business decision for the NFL, but I almost felt like it was outshining the games,’ she said.
‘I think that’s what bothered me. I was a little jealous of the fact that they were getting all this attention and all of a sudden the football game was the sideshow. So, yeah, maybe I let jealousy get the best of me.’
