Support programme to help NI businesses to create and build sustainable tourism practices

Tourism NI is inviting expressions of interest for Cohort 6 of the Sustainable Tourism Business Programme, an innovative initiative delivered in partnership with The Tourism Space and Ulster University.

This programme is designed to support tourism businesses across Northern Ireland to build practical, impactful sustainability practices, while strengthening their competitive edge.

Programme details

The programme is funded by Tourism NI (£2,000+ value) and will be delivered through a mix of in-person and online sessions.

Who should apply?

This programme is designed for tourism business owners and senior decision-makers who have responsibility for managing premises, facilities, or experiences where sustainability improvements can be measured and implemented in a practical way.

Participants will

  • achieve a university certified accreditation to enhance your sustainability marketing
  • learn how to reduce energy, water, and waste costs
  • develop a practical sustainability action plan tailored to your business
  • build skills in sustainability storytelling and visitor engagement
  • access expert mentoring, tools, and templates
  • join a growing network of like-minded tourism businesses
