Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker III has fired back at Seahawks general manager John Schneider after his bizarre joke backfired at their victory parade.
On Wednesday, the Seattle players and coaches gathered for a procession throughout the city following their triumph over the New England Patriots on Sunday.
One major talking point from the afternoon stemmed around Schneider’s speech, where he awkwardly joked about Walker’s future with the franchise.
‘Ken Walker being the MVP, let’s go!’ Schneider yelled to nearly a million fans.
‘He tried negotiating with me five minutes ago. It was really weird. M-V-P! M-V-P!,’ Schneider then declared. However, his remarks were not well met by the crowd.
Now, just one day on from the parade, Walker III has now spoken about the matter.

Schneider, however, wasn’t the most excited of the Seahawks crew on the day.
Linebacker Ernest Jones told the gathered crowd at Lumen Field: ‘I’m probably the last person they shoulda gave the mic to’.
He went on to give a ‘shout out’ to ‘these bad-a** mother***ers that play this game the right way.’
‘Not only do we have the best defense in the world,’ he added, ‘we got the best team in the world.
‘And quite frankly, you got anything to say about my quarterback, anything to say about our O-line, or you got anything to say about the city of Seattle, I got two words for you: F*** you!’
Jones was among several Seahawks players wearing t-shirts emblazed with a doctored image of a bird-flipping, cigarette-smoking quarterback Sam Darnold.
‘I’ve been saying it all year,’ Jones told NFL Network’s Kay Adams, while showing off the farcical shirt before the parade. ‘That’s my dude.
The parade began at Lumen Field and meandered through Seattle before ending in Belltown

‘And to come, he gave me his blessing, he was OK with us wearing the shirts, the couple of us that have them on. That’s my guy. Thank you, Sam, for getting us to this [Super Bowl].’
‘Is that a cigarette in his mouth?’ Adams asked.
‘Yeah, a little cig,’ Jones answered.
As Jones explained, a local store was able to help him print the shirts within a ‘couple of hours, so it’s perfect.’
