A moment of madness from Sunderland left back Reinildo saw him sent off in the first half of their Premier League clash with Aston Villa.
Reinildo was given his marching orders in the 33rd minute after clashing with Matty Cash.
The Villa full back had left the Mozambican on the floor with a late challenge before the former Atletico Madrid defender let his frustrations get the better of him.
Clinging onto Cash’s arm, Reinildo kicked out into the Poland international’s midriff.
The incident was reviewed by VAR before referee Sam Barrott produced a red card to reduce the hosts to 10 men.

Sam Barrott eventually produced a red card for the Sunderland left back following a VAR check
‘There is a little kick out there, it is the right decision – you cannot kick out there, it is in the midriff,’ said Sky Sports expert Chris Sutton.
‘From Sunderland’s perspective, it is an absolute nightmare. It is stupidity on his part. You cannot do it, he literally put the boot in.’
Earlier this season, Reinildo made history by becoming the first Mozambican to play in the Premier League.
