A stabbing inside New York City’s bustling Penn Station on Sunday evening reportedly injured at least five people, including one seriously, fire officials told The New York Post.
None of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening, and a male suspect is now in police custody, sources told ABC News.
The man is thought to be homeless, the sources said.
The Independent has contacted the New York City Fire Department and Amtrak, which manages the station, for comment.
Security in the area around Penn Station was already heightened, as President Donald Trump is set to attend Monday’s NBA Finals game at nearby Madison Square Garden.
This is a breaking news story and will be updated with new information.
