Huge plumes of smoke can be seen rising across a city as firefighters tackle a blaze involving a pile of tyres.
The fire broke out shortly before 14:00 BST near to Duchy Road in Salford, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said.
Two fire engines were called to the blaze with firefighters using jets to tackle the fire.
GMFRS said crews remained in attendance but did not give any other details about the incident.
