The plan will help to guide development in Leckhampton and Warden Hill up to 2031 and inform decision making on planning applications.
Residents and local businesses are asked to give their views on the proposed amendments made to the Leckhampton with Warden Hill Neighbourhood Plan in a six-week public consultation starting on Monday 14 April and running Friday 30 May.
Leckhampton with Warden Hill Parish Council have sought proposed amendments to the Draft Neighbourhood Plan. Cheltenham Borough Council are now running an additional Regulation-16 consultation on these amendments in advance of an independent examination of the Plan.
Once approved, the Plan will form part of the statutory development plan for Cheltenham and will help to guide development in Leckhampton and Warden Hill up to 2031 and inform decision making on planning applications within the neighbourhood plan area.
Tracey Birkinshaw director of community & economic development, at Cheltenham Borough Council, said: “I would like to thank Leckhampton and Warden Hill Parish Council in reaching this key stage in plan making.
“The proposed amendments to the Neighbourhood Plan will be available to view online from Monday 14 April and I encourage any interested resident, business or other stakeholder to review.”
The draft Neighbourhood Plan and proposed amendments can be viewed on the consultations page and on the Parish Council’s website.
