Former Kansas City Chiefs player Justyn Ross lashed out at a fan in outrageous scenes in the midst of a football game.

Ross, who spent three seasons with the Chiefs until he was cut before training camp last year, is now suiting up for the Birmingham Stallions in the UFL.

The wide receiver made his debut for the team on Friday night in the UFL season opener against the Louisville Kings.

Ross hauled in the game-winning touchdown in the 15-13 victory. However, the wideout caused a stir for an entirely different reason.

The former Clemson standout was caught in a furious outburst during halftime of the tense thriller.

As the players made their way down the tunnel towards the locker room, they had to walk past rival Louisville fans at what appeared to be a beverage area of the stadium.

The Kings fans jeered and booed the Birmingham players as they headed towards the locker room.

While most of his teammates kept their heads down or, at the most, jokingly mocked the jeers, Ross completely lost his cool.

In a video shared on social media, Ross appeared to suddenly snap, stopping in his tracks and furiously approaching the fans, who were separated from the players’ path by a half wall and glass barriers.

He ripped his helmet off and began a heated exchange with a particular supporter. While it is unclear what was said, it clearly triggered Ross as he proceeded to swipe a drink out of the fan’s hand.

He then had to be pulled back by a member of staff, who tried to usher him away from the scene. However, as he was dragged away, another of the spectators launched their drink at him, sparking a melee.

His teammates eventually managed to wrestle Ross down the tunnel and through the doors to the locker room.

Ross was part of the Chiefs teams that won back-to-back Super Bowls in 2023 and 2024 but didn’t play in either showpiece game.

Injuries blighted Ross’s time with the team – he needed surgery on his spine and foot during his time at Arrowhead.

And in October 2023, he made headlines for the wrong reasons. He was arrested in Kansas on charges of criminal damage. The charges were terminated in November 2023.
