Cameras caught the moment a college baseball player allegedly rendered an 84-year-old man unconscious in a drunken bar clash.
Owen Hayes, a 21-year-old player for The Master’s University, reportedly handed himself into cops on Monday over the incident in a Santa Clarita dive bar.
According to TMZ, the baseball star is accused of ambushing the elderly man and knocked him to the floor.
It’s claimed that the victim was taken to the hospital but avoided serious injury.
A witness, who spoke to TMZ, said the elderly man was targeted in an ‘unprovoked assault’ in the early hours of February 28.
Security footage of the incident shows someone arguing with the 84-year-old man, before someone steps between them.

The clip then shows a figure – said to be Hayes – ambushing the victim from behind and knocking him to the floor.
TMZ reports that cops managed to identify Hayes, who surrendered to the authorities in Santa Clarity Valley on Monday.
He reportedly faces a charge of ‘felony assault (by) means likely to produce great bodily injury’. Bail was set at $50,000.
Hayes is no longer listed on the 2025 baseball roster of the TMU Mustangs and his profile page on the school’s website now appears to have been removed.
But his profile on NIL marketplace opendorse claims he is pursuing a degree in sports management. It says he stands at 6ft 4ins tall and 225lbs.
