Shilo Sanders has risked the end of his NFL dream after being ejected for throwing a punch at Buffalo Bills tight end Zach Davidson.
The safety – who is the son of Deion and brother of Browns quarterback Shedeur – has played in all three Tampa Bay Buccaneers preseason games but the red mist descended against the Bills on Saturday night.
On Tuesday, the Bucs roster will be cut from 90 to 53 and Sanders’ moment of madness could feasibly cost him a spot for the 2025 season.
The incident occurred when Davidson appeared to try and rough Sanders up away from the play, pushing him back towards the end zone.
Sanders retaliates and the pair can be seen pushing each other in the face, before breaking away from each other.
The Bucs rookie’s red mist then descended as he threw a wild punch at his Bills opponent right in front of a referee, who quickly threw a flag and ejected him from the game.

Sanders had become a fans’ favorite in Tampa Bay, but could miss out on the final roster
On social media, fans quickly had their say, with many claiming that Sanders ruined his NFL dream in one fell swoop.
‘I hope #Bucs fans have enjoyed their time watching Shilo Sanders in a Buccaneers uniform… he’s not gonna make it,’ one said.
Another added: ‘Not what I meant when I said we’d see Shilo Sanders fighting for a roster spot tonight…’
Sanders has played in all three of Tampa Bay’s preseason games and has quickly become a fans’ favorite, despite going undrafted out of college.
While much of the focus has been on his brother Shedeur, he has quietly impressed under Todd Bowles – but may now have cost himself a shot at making the final roster.
