Christian Coleman was arrested alongside his sprinter girlfriend Sha’Carri Richardson after she was allegedly caught speeding at 104mph, according to reports.
Richardson was booked Thursday into Orange County Jail in Florida, with a sheriff’s department spokesperson claiming she was ‘dangerously tailgating and traveling across lanes of travel to pass other motorists.’
Richardson later posted $500 bond and was released. The official charge is dangerous excessive speeding at 100mph or more.
Now, however, TMZ reports that Coleman was detained for drug paraphernalia and resisting during the traffic stop near Orlando.
It is claimed that their fellow US Olympic gold medalist Twanisha Terry also had a run-in with cops.
According to TMZ, Terry arrived on the scene to see what was unfolding. She was ticketed for stopping on a limited access highway before being allowed to leave.

Terry, 27, has in recent years won both Olympic and world championship gold in the 4x100m relay alongside Richardson.
