Inform vital research in measurement and test standards for semiconductors
The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is calling on Northern Ireland’s semiconductor community to help shape key industry standards at an event on Friday, 13 December 2024, at Queen’s University Belfast.
As part of its ongoing research, NPL is working to identify the measurement and test standards that will support the growth of the UK semiconductor sector. This event marks the final stage of consultations, following a series of workshops across the UK.
The day will include talks from
- NPL
- the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology
- key industry figures, including Cillian McPolin from Digital Catapult
There will also be roundtable discussions where participants can provide input on the sector’s future direction.
This event is an opportunity for businesses to directly impact the development of standards that will help the UK compete globally, drive innovation, and create skilled jobs. Networking and lunch will be provided.
