Sellafield Ltd has been named England’s second highest-ranked apprenticeship employer in the HIGHERiN Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers 2026 ranking, delivered in partnership with the UK Government.
The scheme recognises employers that provide high-quality apprenticeship programmes and support apprentices to succeed.
The rankings are based on apprentice reviews and employer performance. They look at things such as programme completion rates, the number of apprenticeship opportunities available, diversity and inclusion, and feedback from apprentices.
The result reflects Sellafield and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority’s long-term investment in early careers and skills. It also recognises the role their apprentices play in supporting the UK’s nuclear sector and the nation’s long-term economic growth.
