Seven times they’ve tried, seven times they’ve failed.

But now, the Tartan Army are just one game away from potentially booking their spot in the knockout stages of the World Cup for the very first time in the country’s history.

Avoid defeat in the tropical conditions of Miami, Florida, and then they will have done it. That spot they have been craving in the last 32 of this tournament will be there’s.

There is a small dilemma, though…

What is it, you ask? Well, they are only playing against the most successful country this tournament has ever seen in Brazil.

Sure, this is not the Brazil of old, but they are still a side stacked with talent and are looking to prove a point of their own. Oh yeah, and Scotland have never beaten them in their history.

So, it’s quite the task ahead of the Scots tonight; one they will have to be up for if they want to make history.

It’s going to be one hell of a night in Miami.
