Tickets for the 2025 Ryder Cup were some of the most expensive in history, with a face value of $750 for the cheapest ticket. It appears some fans are willing to eat a massive loss rather than see the struggling Team USA again.
Earlier in the week, third-party ticket sellers were advertising tickets for Sunday in the range of $775 and higher – surpassing $800.
But that was before the United States put up a horrific and embarrassing Friday and Saturday performance – with Team USA down 11.5-4.5 going into Sunday’s singles matches.
It appears American fans want nothing to do with any attempts on a comeback.
As of 8:00pm ET on Sunday night, the cheapest ticket to attend Sunday’s singles matches at Bethpage Black will only run you $294 on StubHub – constituting a loss of over 60% from the face value of the ticket.
