The Rural Micro Capital Grant is now accepting applications for Tranche 2 offering up to £2,000 to groups, voluntary organisations and social enterprises
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) has opened applications for the Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme (RMCGS) 2024/25 Tranche 2.
Rural community groups, voluntary organisations and Social Economy Enterprises can apply for grants between £500 and £2,000. These grants support projects that help reduce poverty or social isolation in local areas, as long as the organisation meets all the requirements in their application, constitution and accounts.
Project eligibility guidelines
Projects should focus on one of these areas
- modernisation of buildings or equipment
- Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- health and wellbeing
- energy efficiency or environmental improvements
