Several roads have been cordoned off in a south Wales town after what police described as a serious incident.
An officer said the cordoned off streets in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, were being treated as a crime scene.
Police vans are currently blocking off Barry Road between the Tuck in Cafe and Davies Street, and Court Road between Davies Street and Hannah Street.
Vale of Glamorgan council said Jenner Park School on Barry Road was closed due to the road closures.
There is a heavy police presence in the area and South Wales Police have asked people to avoid the area.
Only residents are being allowed on to the closed streets.
