Richard Keys and Andy Gray are reportedly going to be free agents this summer, with the duo set to leave beIN Sports.

According to The Athletic, the long-standing presenting duo will leave the Qatar-based channel once the current Premier League season concludes.

The English top-flight finishes on May 24, meaning they have just over 15 weeks left in their role.

It is thought that beIN Sport are looking for a change of tact in their football coverage moving forward.

The Athletic adds that there has been no falling out between the presenters and broadcaster. More that beIN Sports are not likely to extend the contracts of Keys and Gray when they expire this summer.

As it stands too, both are currently not due to cover the World Cup for beIN Sports across June and July in Canada, Mexico and the United States of America, although that could change. The pair did front their coverage for the 2022 iteration held in Qatar.

Keys, 68, and Gray, 70, have been working with beIN Sports since 2013. BeIN Sports’ rights currently encompasses Turkey, the Middle East and North Africa region.

Prior to working for beIN sports, Keys and Gray had fronted Sky Sports’ Premier League coverage before their exits in 2011.

After almost two decades at Sky, their long tenures came to an abrupt and controversial end after a series of sexist conversations were picked up and leaked in January 2011 when they thought their microphones were off.

Keys resigned after the clips became public, while Gray was sacked.
