Chelsea want a package worth up to £35million to sell Trevoh Chalobah after receiving a bid worth around £22m from Como, the Italian side managed by Cesc Fabregas.
Fabregas, twice a Premier League winner with the Blues, wants the 26-year-old centre back at his Serie A club for next season. Talks are likely to continue to see if an agreement can be struck.
It could be a complicated deal for Como as there are other clubs interested in Chalobah, who is currently away with England at the 2026 World Cup after replacing the injured Tino Livramento.
Daily Mail Sport understands Chelsea have told Como they want £30m plus £5m in add-ons.

One issue for Chelsea is their rivals know they have a need to sell central defenders this summer.
The Blues are looking to add at least one new centre back – and have enquired about Maxence Lacroix at Crystal Palace – but already have nine on their books as it stands.
They are Chalobah, Levi Colwill, Aaron Anselmino, Axel Disasi, Benoit Badiashile, Wesley Fofana, Tosin Adarabioyo, Mamadou Sarr and Josh Acheampong.
The club will also not have European football next season so will be less able to spread minutes down the pecking order.
Chelsea are close to announcing their first signing of the summer in Marco Palestra from Atalanta.
The 21-year-old Italian can play as a full back and wing back on either side, and Blues sources, when asked whether his arrival will have implications for Acheampong, told Daily Mail Sport that the Cobham graduate is seen as a centre back.
They also insisted their talented 20-year-old is not for sale amid interest from clubs in the Premier League and beyond.
